19th-Century English Antique Iron Wax Jack / TaperstickA 19th Century antique iron wax jack. With a single taperholder over an iron stem (the spiral wax taper wraps around the stem) with a circular drip pan, supported by three splayed legs. Wax Jacks were used for holding sealing wax for sealing documents rather than illumination. Provenance Unknown. Condition Good as per the images.
