Great books! Hope there are more!
Format: Paperback
My 10 year devoured both books 1 & 2 in two days! She loves them so much and can’t stop talking about them. She is telling all her friends they HAVE to read them! I’m sure she will read them again and again. Thank you Sylvia Douye!

Amazing and inspiring
Format: Paperback
As a young transgender person this book fills me with a lot of hope for my future. I relate to his story so much. He gives me hope that one day I can medically transition even if it’ll be difficult. I would suggest this book to transgender people who are 14 and older. And if you read this one make sure to read the second one!

LOVE IT
As a transmasc person who was an emo kid at a similar time, this really hits home!
Wonderfully illustrated and full of character and humor while being true to the struggles and reality.
Can't wait to buy the next book!

Really Wanted to Love This Book
Format: Paperback
I grew up in a time where there were very few LBGTQ books and I felt very much an anomaly. I heard great things about this book and wanted to read it. I found the book to be written super simply and not adding much to the conversation. I am glad it exists but it was super simplistic and it really doesn’t add much to the conversations around transitioning. It might be a great book for a kid just starting to figure out who they are. I left this book in a free library in a public space in hopes it gets read by someone who needs the message.
