Charles de Blois 14th Century Wool CotehardieThis cotehardie is inspired by an extant 14th century garment, generally referred to as the Charles de Blois pourpoint. The pourpoint of Charles de Blois is currently held in the Musee des Tissus et des Arts Decoratif in Lyon, France. It is one of the most well preserved surviving garments of the 14th century. The extant item was an arming garment, made of layers of fabric, quilted together. It had 70 buttons which fastened the front, and each sleeve.

Can be a little uncomfortable if you’re a wide foot girly but overall comfy. A little slippery after lotion and some heat (I live in the muggy south), I’d possibly size down. Once you break them in they’re a little loose, at least for me. I usually wear a 6.5-7 I got a 7.5 to accommodate for the width. I could’ve done with just a 7.
