My Corgi pup is pretty gentle so far and she proudly struts around the house with this toy all day long. It's her favorite thing to play with. The rope legs are good for tug-o-war with the Heeler. The squeaker isn't annoying, either. It only makes noise when the toy is moved in a back and forth type motion. The only downside is not being able to choose the one you want. I was lucky...ordered 2 and got the frog and alligator, which are the two I wanted.
